The international meetings of the 2010 Forum d'Avignon - culture, economy, media - was held from 4 - 6 November in Avignon. Discover on our website all the debates, point of views and studies that have been presented during the third edition:

• First outcomes of the 2010 working groups and studies

All the year long, working groups are organized to think about the stakes regarding culture, the economy and the media. They prepare studies that are presented in exclusivity in November during the Forum d'Avignon.

The 2010 edition focused on the theme "More accessibility, new usage in a digital era: culture for everyone?". Numerous ideas and propositions have been discussed. To deepen the thoughts, find here the acknowledgements and outlooks of each 2010 working group and study.

• "Digital technologies can be a chance" - Interview of Nicolas Seydoux, President of Gaumont and President of the  Forum d’Avignon – Stratégies, November the 4th 2010, by Amaury de Rochegonde

A graduate of the Law Faculty of Paris and Sciences-po Paris (IEP), Nicolas Seydoux was Chairman and CEO of Gaumont from 1975 to 2004. Since 2004, he is President of Gaumont. Since 2002 he also is President of the Association against Audiovisual Piracy Association (ALPA) and since 2003, Vice-Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Arte France. Since 2008, he is also President of the Forum d’Avignon - Culture, economy, media.
