WHO IS … Jean-Noël Tronc ?

Jean-Noël Tronc worked for the European Parliament, Andersen Consulting and France's Center for Strategic Planning before being appointed "IT and Internet" advisor to France's Prime Minister from 1997 to 2002.

After five years with France Telecom/Orange (2002-2007), where he became CEO of Orange France, he spent three years as Chairman and CEO of Canal+ Overseas, running the Canal Plus Group's pay-tv business in French overseas territories and international operations.

He has been appointed CEO of Sacem in June 2012. He is also Vice-President of GESAC (European group of authors’ societies).

He is a graduate of the Institut d’Etudes Politiques de Paris and of Essec business school.
