Nadia Khiari is a Tunisian cartoonist, painter, Fine Arts teacher, and also director of an art gallery in Tunis.

Her cat, Willis from Tunis, was born on January 13th 2011, during the last speech of Ben Ali. Willis From Tunis quickly became famous on social networks, by sharing his feelings about the historical situation that Tunisians were living. Today, the cat keeps chronicling Tunisian daily news.

In April 2012, Nadia Khiari received the Honoré Daumier Award during the 2nd international meeting of Cartooning for Peace in Caen (France). She was also awarded Doctor Honoris Causa on September 25th 2013 at the University of Liège for her commitment to Freedom of Expression. On January 30th 2016, as part of the “Off” of the Angoulême Festival, Willis From Tunis is awarded the “Couilles au Cul” Award launched by Yan Lindingre, editor in chief at Fluide Glacial.
