Jean-Pierre leads EY’s EMEIA Tax Policy and Controversy team which advises clients on engaging with policy makers and how to deal with tax audits and litigations. He also advises clients from the tech industry & the digital economy.
Jean-Pierre was Inspector General of Finance and spent 24 years working for the French Ministry of Finance. He held several high positions within the French Tax Administration, including head of the unit managing tax audit means and strategy, Deputy Commissioner in charge of business tax and stamp duty policy, and Chief Counsel.
In these roles, Jean-Pierre led several major tax reforms in France.
He has a long experience in the taxation of the Art industry and was during several years member of the Commission des Dations.
