Daytime programme

This morning, a dozen of speakers discussed about the overall theme of the 2012 edition, “Culture: reasons to hope” and about the study conducted by Louvre Alliance and Bertrand Moineau. Were present: Pierre Lescure, the professor of economics David Throsby, the violinist Renaud Capuçon and Jean-Christophe Bas, from the Alliance of civilizations, UNO.

This afternoon, the debate was around the theme “The Fabric of culture” and relied on the study “Seven years, the age of reason?” presented by Patrick Béhar for Bain&Cie. Olivier Poivre d’Arvor, the choreographer Kitsou Dubois and Rick Cotton from NBCUniversal were speakers.

In the late afternoon, students, researchers  among other personalities discussed the question of the access of the 15-25 years-olds to culture and new technologies. Axel Dauchez from Deezer, the young student Laura Cerdan and the Philippe Carli, CEO of the Amaury group participated in the exchanges.

Then, Etienne de Crécy musically concluded this long day of debates, with a free concert and open to the public at the Opéra-Théâtre of Avignon.
