THIS WEEK’S CULTURAL START-UP: Mes Sorties Culture

Next-up on our online cultural entrepreneur series, the Forum d’Avignon would like to continue: MesSortiesCulture.com, a website that offers visitors a panel of guided tours to discover museums, monuments or cities.

What is your company’s objective?

Le site web MesSortiesCulture.com offers visitors a panel of guided tours to discover museums, monuments or cities.

I created the MesSortiesCulture for the 3 following reasons:

1. Today, the options proposes to visitors are not structured and is spread out on websites. Mes SortiesCulture would allow us to solve this problem by offering a unique way of entry.

2. The different websites do not place visitors’ constraints at the center of their functioning. MesSortiesCulture facilitates the web-user’s experience. The user will conduct his/her searches according to each one’s own criteria and availability. All the proposed excursions are accompanied by a guide/lecturer. In fact, only a guide can privilege the discovery of the artworks. Such encounters are continued by a book or film recommendation presented on the site MesSortiesCulture for each guided tour.

3. Passionate about all types of cultural excursions, I’ve alwys liked sharing my discoveries with others. MesSortiesCulture is the expression of that.

What challenges do you face in your development?

Gaining the largest possible visibility towards the greater public in order to provide for all the most easiest acces to the greatest possible culture: museums, cities, monuments, companies at work.

What does it mean to be a cultural entrepreneur?

To go till the end of projects that both allow us to satisfy one’s curiosity and share knowledge with others.
