Christine Albanel : « The success of the MOOC on Impressionists shows the interest of French people for culture »

This is one the cultural surprises of the end of this year : last October 20th, Orange and the RMN (Réunion des musées nationaux) launched a MOOC (Massive Online Open Courses) on the occasion of the exhibition « Paul Durant-Ruel, the challenge of impressionism » at the Musée du Luxembourg. More than 13.000 people have already registered for this online course, accessible by everyone for free, which allow to discover and go into depth our knowledge on art history. Christine Albanel, former Minister of Culture (2007-2009), Executive director in charge of business social responsibility, diversity, partnerships and solidarity of Orange, who is at the origins of the project, analyzes its success.
