Jean-Noël Tronc
Managing director of Sacem
A graduate from Sciences-Po Paris and Essec Business School, Jean-Noël Tronc worked for the European Parliament, then at Andersen Consulting and subsequently for the Plan Commission, before becoming the advisor to the Prime Minister for « new technologies and the information society » from 1997 to 2002.
After five years at France Telecom/Orange (2002-2007) where he was the Head of strategy and brand, Jean-Noël Tronc became CEO at Orange France, then CEO during three years at Canal+ Overseas which clusters all the pay television activities of the Canal Plus group in French Overseas and worldwide. He joined the Sacem as a Managing director in June 2012.
He is also the Vice-President of GESAC (European Grouping of Societies of Authors and Composers).
Jean-Noël Tronc is a member of the Board of the Forum d'Avignon since February 2015.
