A graduate of the Law Faculty of Paris and Sciences-Po Paris (IEP), Nicolas Seydoux was Chairman and CEO of Gaumont from 1975 to 2004. Since 2004, he is President of Gaumont. Since 2002 he also is President of the Association against Audiovisual Piracy Association (ALPA) and since 2003, Vice-Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Arte France. He is President of the General meeting of ARTE G.E.I.E shareholders since 2016.
Nicolas Seydoux was the President of the Forum d'Avignon from 2007 to 2014. He is Honorary Chairman of the Forum d'Avignon since October 2014.
