
Major French and European universities, partners of the Forum d’Avignon
Since its first edition in 2008, the University of Avignon has been associated to the Forum d’Avignon. This year, students and professors from 10 European universities and schools gather at the Forum d’Avignon to enrich the debates and share their vision on the issues related to culture, economy and the media.
More than 10 countries (Argentina, Chile, China, Denmark, France, Germany, Italy, Morocco, South Korea, Spain…) are represented by these Phd students, students and their professors from these universities.
Ecole des Hautes Etudes en Sciences Sociales – Ecole Doctorale
The EHESS (School for High studies in social sciences) is a public scientific, cultural and professional institution, chaired by a President elected by the Professors ‘assembly. The school is based in Paris, Lyon, Marseille and Toulouse. It has both a mission of research and research training in all areas of social sciences. As part of its mission of teaching, EHESS trains doctors in all disciplines of humanities and social sciences, two thousand doctoral students, half of which comes from the five continents and are divided in their labs. It delivers a master's degree in Social Sciences, with 1,000 students enrolled in this cycle. Finally, the degree of the EHESS represents a specific and unique way for students who lack academic background to conduct thorough research in the perspective of a thesis.

EJCM
Founded in 1982, the School of Journalism and Communication of Marseille, located in the heart of Marseille, is since 1989 an autonomous component of the University of the Mediterranean Aix-Marseille II. Recognized by the National Committee for the Employment of journalists through its specialty Journalism, the School trains in all areas of Communications and Information Technology and delivers Master level University degrees. Its research center contributes to educational innovation and enables the pursuit of doctoral studies. The EJCM aims to meet the needs of the information and knowledge society. The formation offer, initial and ongoing, covers a wide range of skills matching the needs and evolutions of journalism, new media, and communication, related to the development of information technology.

ESA Avignon
The art college of Avignon is a higher education artistic institution whose mission is original in comparison with other art schools in France: it combines the teaching of creation with that of preservation of cultural goods and heritage.
This structural originality allowed the highlighting of the direct relationship between these two orientations underlined by the deep anchoring of the school in a well identified town, both in terms of creation and heritage - especially around its Festival.
The ESAA is currently one of four curriculum recognized by the French Direction of Museums on the national territory for the training in the field of works’ conservation-restoration.

ESSEC
The ESSEC Media & Entertainment Chair is a research and teaching chair established from a partnership between ESSEC and Société Générale, Orange group and Les Echos daily newspapers. It brings together ESSEC professors and sector professionals, whose combined skills form a bridge between the world of research and management education and the media and cultural sectors. Its missions are to train high-potential managers of the future in the sector specificities and the businesses it encompasses, develop research for analyzing sector fundamentals, reflecting on problematic areas and anticipating trends and develop monitoring and observation activities.

Hotel School of Avignon
Since 1968, the Hotel School of Avignon welcomes young and older students of all levels training them for careers in Hospitality with a key objective: meeting the needs of professionals.
The EHA proposes a choice of 18 vocational programs combining theory and practice, initial training and apprenticeship, from vocational qualifications to professional license. The Kaospilots
The Kaospilots is an international school situated in Aarhus Denmark. It provides a three years education programme, equivalent to a bachelor, for students from all over the world. The students are educated in four disciplines: Creative Business Design; Creative Leadership Design; Creative Project Design; Creative Process Design. A partner of the Forum d’Avignon since its launching in 2008, the University of Avignon and Vaucluse is an autonomous French University. A ‘scientific, cultural and professional’ Public Institution, it welcomes more than 7000 students, from Bachelor to Phd, and counts around 15 research centers.
The research activities of the University of Avignon lean on two major scientific axis, constituting its identity fundamentally linked to its history and environment: Agrosciences / Sciences and Culture / Heritage.
The University of Avignon also gathers four training and research units (UFR-ip), an institute of technology (IUT) and a center of computer research and studies (CERI).

Université de Bologne
The University of Bologna has a long tradition of research and teaching in many fields.
