To pursue our online cultural entrepreneur series, the Forum d’Avignon would like to introduce: Tech’4’Team, a software solutions publisher for sports and cultural facilities.

 What is your project/idea/start-up?

Our objective is dual and involves two kinds of targets:

1 / The general public who would like to have an easier access to cultural events thanks to ticketing offers at a "fair" price for curious, beginners, enthusiasts and insiders.

2 / The event organizers who would like to optimize their ticket pricing and the filling rate of their events.

Budgets for cultural development in France are down : minus 4.3% of the budget of the Ministry of Culture between 2011 and 2012. To find new financial resources, it seems interesting to increase the turnover of ticketing offices by increasing the number of tickets sold for each event. That is why, Tech'4'Team gives ticketing offices the opportunity to benefit from the Yield Management methods. These techniques should ensure the ticketing offices:

  • A revenue increase from 5% to 10% for ticketing offices and even more than 10% revenue increase for some specific events.
  • A filling rate optimization for each event.
  • An increase satisfaction of the spectators who attend the shows.

What challenges do you face in your development?

Today, our main challenge is how to manage our growth. In this regard, we have to :

  • Ensure  the human resources management and  the growth of our team.
  • Develop our customer relationship. It’s important to set up a high-quality customer’s follow up. We need feedbacks from our clients  to improve Arenametrix and meet our client’s needs.
  • Invest in Research&Development  for Big Data
  • Reach a financial return 

For you, what does it mean to be a cultural entrepreneur?

Above all, being a cultural entrepreneur is putting himself at the service of culture and  thus contributing to its influence. Being a cultural entrepreneur is create and innovate in order to improve
