For Make Music day, the Forum d’Avignon wants to make you discover a new start-up: Soondy, which offers an online DJ mixing from distance via Internet, for your private and professional event, for a perfect solution.
What is your project/idea/start-up?
It is difficult for people to manage the atmosphere of an event, free-playlists are not able to do that and will never replace a DJ.
That’s why we have created a platform that connects DJs from all over the world to you, enabling you to enjoy a real live mix, exclusively for you and your friends, but from his place!
A computer with a webcam, an Internet access and a simple sound system are the only components needed to catch the stream sent by the DJ and let him boost the atmosphere.
Imagine an app able to save your friends and company ‘s party atmosphere!
What is your current challenge?
Soondy Bêta has just been launched and we already have 2 kinds of customers : private (birthday & housewarming parties, ...) and professionals customers (cocktails, after work, networking, product launch,...).
We have recruited more then 100 DJs in 25 different styles, in any budget, they are all ready to boost the atmosphere of your parties !
The women incubator Paris Pionnières helps us in our sales development and in raising funds.
For you, what does it mean to be a cultural entrepreneur?
Audio and Video Streaming is everywhere, even on Facebook!
We’ll register so many different DJs that every one will find the best DJ for his event.
You’ll find very famous and expensive DJs as well as amateur DJs, all interested in sharing their passion for good and original music.
We are dreaming of exporting the famous “French Touch” and discover new talents !
