Next-up on our online cultural entrepreneur series, the Forum d’Avignon would like to introduce: Naoned, a start-up which provides innovative digital solutions in the field of knowledge and heritage management.
What is your company’s objective?
Since 8 years, Naoned provides innovative digital solutions in the field of knowledge and heritage management. Our goal is to help information managers embracing the digital revolution.
Our clients are confronted to many challenges : their practices are going through a shake up due to the digital environment. With our team of experts, both in the field of technology as well as information and heritage management, we bring them softwares and services built in order to help them carrying those changes.
Our servcies are especially dedicated to the field of cultural heritage : archives department, museums, libraries, heritage department of companies.
What challenges do you face in your development?
After having exceeded the threshold of a hundred clients in France, we start the internationalisation of our offer, opening a new page of Naoned’s history. It’s interesting to see that all countries are concerned by the digital transformation of heritage. Overall, it's a period of opportunities for heritage professionals.
I have the feeling that even though heritage never had so much value for decision-makers, they have more and more expectations, resources granted to heritage instiutions don't meet this added value.
What does it mean to be a cultural entrepreneur?
Being a cultural entrepreneur is to know how to orchestrate an economic project and a team, and put them at the service of common goods: knowledge and culture.
