Next-up on our online cultural entrepreneur series, the Forum d’Avignon would like to introduce: J'aime mon patrimoine, a platform of content and services dedicated to heritage lovers.
What is your project/idea/start-up?
J’aime mon Patrimoine’s goal is to bring the vast community of cultural heritage lovers together through engaging contents and dedicated services. We already offer a website and social networks with articles, games and videos as a space for people to explore, play and share their passion. Soon, we’ll be launching our first services. In particular, we will offer the first digital catalogue of documentaries about art and culture available through an unlimited plan.
What is your current challenge?
The company is very young, only a couple of months, we need to rapidly reach our online audience despite the Internet’s harsh competition. We need to quickly produce relevant content while controlling our digital marketing budget.
For you, what does it mean to be a cultural entrepreneur?
Culture isn’t a good like any other. It creates a common wealth that goes beyond simple financial gains. A cultural entrepreneur must therefore find innovative business models. They must respect everyone’s right to get access to this Culture while composing with the economic realities of this sector.
